Dimboola Nursing Home is located in the picturesque rural town of Dimboola. This bright modern aged care community supports you to maintain your connections with the wider community. This attractive home accommodates 26 residents in a friendly, home-like environment. You will benefit from person-centred care provided by our team to best support your wellbeing.

Our beautiful garden and courtyard area offer a relaxing outdoor environment. Our Meaningful Life team co-ordinate and undertake activities with residents either one-on-one or in group settings, promoting independence, skills, memory and fun.

The Dimboola Nursing Home features three spacious dining rooms/lounge areas with large screen televisions and kitchen facilities, encouraging you to maintain your independence within a safe and comfortable environment.

Our gardens and courtyards have comfortable seating for outdoor recreation. The landscaped surrounds incorporate lawn areas, planted gardens, easy walking paths, garden sculptures, BBQ facilities and a mural designed by a local artist. All rooms have a view outside with some rooms offering direct access to the garden.

As a resident, you are encouraged to personalise your space with soft furnishings, photographs and mementos. All rooms have a television access point.

Your dietary needs and preferences will be catered for and reviewed as required by allied health specialists. Your input into the food provided is actively encouraged.

A registered nurse manages your care at all times, and a range of allied health and other services can be provided to you.

Optional services can be provided at an additional cost, including:

  • additional newspapers/magazines
  • dry cleaning (external provider)
  • hairdressing
  • pharmaceuticals
  • ambulance (if not a member or HCC or a pension card holder)

We are well supported by the Grampians Health Horsham campus and the many services that are offered there. 

Fee structure

Your spot at Dimboola Nursing Home can be paid for by a refundable deposit, a daily payment, or a combination of both.  

A refundable deposit is paid as a lump sum amount. A daily payment accrues daily and is paid periodically, for example monthly. A combination payment includes both a partial lump sum and daily payments.

Aged Care Assessment

An Aged Care Assessment Service (ACAS) assessment is required prior to you moving in. We can assist you with this service. Referrals can be made by your GP, service provider, family member or carer; or you can self-refer to us.
